Ultra Fresh and Safe Salad Year Round!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.COVID-19 changed my life. I now work from home and a trip to the grocery store is a very big deal to me. Everything is about reducing risk, that why I bought Click and Grow’s Garden, in fact I bought 6 and “rotate crops” for access to always fresh salad and herbs, year-round. These Gardens are in great demand and often out of stock. It took 3-4 months of constant searching to obtain my 6 Gardens. A Garden is fool-proof as long as you keep a weekly eye on the water gauge. Plus, this company has an app for your phone customized to your Garden’s current crop that tells you what to do and when. Click and Grow offer a wide selection of crops to grow and you can also plant your own seeds in the experimental pots they also offer. Very little work, healthy and tasty crops, an attractive centerpiece, a living biology class for the kids, what’s not to love.

Great food and so easy!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am an employee of Best Buy and had the opportunity to use the Click and Grow 9 pod garden in white. Overall, this product was very easy to set up and begin growing! It came in one box, was very easy and clear to assemble and only took 10-15mins from start to finish. Within 3 weeks I had edible lettuce and basil while the tomatoes took slightly longer to grow. One thing to note, the lights are fairly bright and do need to run 16 hours a day to maximize growth so for locations may not be best in a bedroom. It's very easy to use, just plug it in when you want the 16 hours to begin and add water every couple of weeks. Other than that, there hasn’t been anything else I have done. The whole family loves the product and quality of food!

Great for the budding gardener!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am an employee of Best Buy and had the opportunity to test out the Click & Grow 9-pod unit. The set up was exceptionally easy and I was shocked at how quickly the sprouts came up (starting within 3 days). The unit came with three basil, three tomatoes, and three lettuce pods. The lettuce was fully grown in less than 4 weeks. I have been able to harvest it a few times to encourage regrowth. The basil was ready at a similar time, however the tomatoes are taking a bit longer, which is what I’d expect, so I have yet to have all three at full growth at the same time. I am excited for the tomatoes to start coming in since I’ve never tried growing those inside, and usually lose most of my outdoor crop to neighborhood bunnies. I have been growing some cilantro seeds the traditional route indoors at the same time to compare the growth rate, and only started to get sprouts about 3 weeks in. It was really eye opening to see how significantly the Click & Grow speeds up the growing process! I did find the bobble to measure the water level was not always the best indicator to refill, mostly because the lettuce overtook it and seemed to occasionally push it down. However, if you check it regularly you should be just fine. I was never out of water as result, just often tried to add more when much wasn’t needed. One thing to note is the lights are exceptionally bright. The entire device is set to turn off for a few hours at a time, but based on where we had it located in the family room, we opted to put it on a smart switch so it would be in line with our other home automation at night as it illuminated the entire room. I don’t believe this hampered growth at all as the basil and lettuce we have used so far have been coming in quite well! All in all, this is a pretty fool proof way to get started on indoor gardening! It is especially great if you live in an area where you think it’s safe to start growing outside, just to have an April or May frost/snow come through and ruin your hard work. No chance of that happening inside!

Excellent for the whole family!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this product with the idea of trying to have some fresh food at home. From my experience, tomatoes do not grow enough, lettuce and basil grow well. My wife is happy with it. However, in my opinion, the most important about this, is that it has helped my daughters (5 & 3) to kind of understand and to see the complete process from seed to food. They enjoy watching how plants grow every day, and they love to eat them.

Good first step into gardening
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like some previous reviewers, I am also an employee of Best Buy. I elected to start off with the mini tomatoes, salad greens, and red chili peppers. In all of her whimsical curiosity, my tabby cat decided that she was going to climb onto the Click and Grow unit. She proceeded to chew on two of my three salad green pods, significantly cutting down their yield. If you do have curious pets, I would recommend putting this high up on a shelf or somewhere else that they can't easily get involved with your plants. The pros: - There are very few ways of sabotaging this operation. Make sure the water bobber doesn't drop to the bottom of the chamber. Try to keep each pod to one sprout. If you're growing the tomatoes, for instance, as exciting as it may look when three seeds are germinating in one pod, consider removing all but the healthiest-looking sprout. Otherwise, they can potentially sap each other for the nutrients in the soil and your overall yield will be lessened, contrary to traditional logic. Setting that aside, however, the plants pretty much grow themselves. Even if you're a notorious fauna assassin, you're probably in the clear. - It's fun! You get a feeling of accomplishment watching the progress take place every day. You have a miniature garden in your own home and that's awesome. You're learning something that's a valuable skill to have throughout life. The cons: - Gardening requires patience. I had fully grown chili peppers that seemingly took nearly a month to turn from green to a more vibrant shade of red. There was a period where I felt like a failure and that I'd done something wrong with the unit. I hadn't. If you've got kids living in the house, be prepared to tell them that this is a long process. We're into my fourth month since planting and some of the tomatoes are still green. The salad greens had come and gone within about a month. - Don't buy this if you're looking to save money on your groceries. It's a hobby. In all, I don't think the entire harvest from this first grow could fill up a four-cup container. Gardening in general, when factoring in the cost of soil, fertilizer, seeds, trellises, and everything else you need, often works this way. Or so I've heard - I'm still relatively new at this. I give the product five stars because I think they did the best they could with what they had. As time goes on, I expect to see heat lamps that can be adjusted from the phone app. Some day they'll probably have fertilizer dispensers built in, perhaps they'll be able to detect the pH in the soil. But this is sufficient for now. I've had a great time. It's succeeded in motivating me to purchase a little indoor greenhouse and continue to experiment with things. And that's really what this was all about - something to keep the mind occupied during COVID-19. Give it a try. Good luck, everybody!

Great Performance Growing System
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a great growing system. I bought two different kinds to see which one performs better. This is very bright so it is not suitable to place in a bedroom and it is on for 10 hours. But this performs really well. We started early November and we ate fresh lettuce the other day, I am considering to buy more.

Q: QuestionWhat are the prices of the pods? Do you sell them? Are there problems with gnats or bugs? Is there a problem with moldy or funky water? Does the water circulate? If you're out of a certain pod, what other brands are compatible?
Asked by Geeksquadbackup.
- A:Answer Your post shows up for customers to answer. I dont work for anyone--Click and Grow or Best Buy. I bought this, am growing my first crop. It has been over 20 days of growth. Plants are healthy, no bugs, no water smell, I see no fungus, I'm happy. I'm going to buy another. There is no motor in the water. I live in a hot, dry part of the country, so water evaporates quickly. I've topped off the water twice. I read that you can purchase the planting pods and store them, but I cant remember what the shelf life is. Makes sense. Think of the global seed banks. I personally wouldn't need to entertain using another company's equipment with the Click and Grow. I have no idea if it would work, but I have my doubts. I really love my purchase.
