I was a bit skeptical about this purchase but man am I glad I got it. I was diagnosed with cervical stenosis 8yrs ago & had a fusion done between C6 & C7. A little over a month ago I came down with severe pain under my neck & left shoulder/arm & numbness. I began chiropractic therapy weekly, doing my PT exercises, using this device & above all things, A LOT of prayer. I didn't want to go through surgery again. Thank God for answered prayers 1st of all & then the use of this device, I'm completely healed & my CT-scan came back with my neck looking normal, no bulging discs, no spurs pinching the spinal cord & all nerve routes wide open.I chose this particular device for its heating ability along with the magnetic pressure points. It definitely helped release pressure on my neck. This along with neck muscle strengthening exercises can be really helpful. The device releases the pressure & the exercises help add the needed strength to support the weight of the head. Exercises are a MUST. And above all, pray.. It doesn't cost anything! :)

I've had a lot of trouble with my neck since having a whiplash several years ago. This works very well for me. The support of the curve has some flexibility at the base which allows me to find the best comfort position. The heat is nice but does get a little bit hot when up against bare skin. I have used a t-shirt or wash cloth to protect my skin from direct contact. That solves the problem for me. I can do gentle stretches on my neck side to side while using it and feel better every time I use it. I have had to go to the chiropractor much less since getting and using this. I use it 2 - 3 times a week for about 15 minutes, it is a very good device to keep my neck feeling good. Definitely would recommend.

Do not buy this unless you want to have continued neck pain and wreck your neck! As someone who suffers from TMJ my muscles in my neck are more tense than other places. I bought this to help alleviate my neck pain when I’m in pain and OMG I was about to go to the ER cause my neck was so stiff and in pain after using this.

Wish I could return it cause it’s not comfortable and the angle at which your neck is hurts. Definitely needs more cushion!!

I would only buy if you like laying on hard plastic and weird angles.

Maybe my neck is more supple than I thought. This feels like a comfortable cradle for my head. I feel no streetcar - and maybe that is a good thing. I am keeping it to use as a pillow. I can’t say that there is anything wrong with this… it is just misleading.

**Upgrading** this from 2 stars to 5. I started having a problem turning my head…. I later figured out that my shoulder bags were way too heavy. This habit plus working at a desk plus the way I was sleeping was causing shoulder and spine issues. Nevertheless…. While trying to figure this out, I pulled this neck pillow back out again. It is still not a neck stretcher for me. Oddly, this hard little thing is very comfortable at the base of my skull. But, when I put my head on it, I realized that part of my head was sore at the base of my skull when I laid down. By morning, yes it was comfy so I feel asleep, the pain was gone and I could turn my head. The biggest surprise, though, was that I fell asleep and stayed asleep. THAT alone makes this purchase a 5 star experience. I am no longer lying there bored and waiting for morning to come or getting up feeling fuzzy headed and unmotivated to be productive due to a lack of sleep. I lie down with my spine aligned and turn on the heat and wake up in the morning feeling refreshed and pain free.

One final comment is that the heat is very HOT. I need to study the controls more to understand how they work. But, I have to click 3 times to get to the orange LED to get a temperature that feels comfortable. The red and the green LED settings are too hot.
